We are looking for a Marketing Design Assistant who will chiefly be responsible for sourcing images and creating promotional images for our book titles. They will be working with the Marketing team to assist in organizing image campaigns and developing promotion image strategies.

We are looking for someone with a design eye who can read through our design brief on each pen name and then find appropriate images for their image quotes based on our requirements using Depositphoto. Then for each individual book the Design Assistant will be given two quotes from the book in which to create image quotes.

Image quotes are images/photos where we add a quote from the book into the designed image. The photos/images chosen for these should be ones that fit with the brand of the pen name.

This role will be approx. 2 hours / week based on the briefs provided for each genre.  

Necessary Skills & Experience

What We Do

We are a book publishing and packaging company. We develop great story ideas and collaborate with talented writers and editors to bring them to life. Story ideas and concepts are created by our in-house team, which are then fleshed out into detailed character profiles and outlines. The outlines are then given to our manuscript team – comprised of a ghostwriter and editor. The focus throughout is on exceptional storytelling, and the writer works closely with an editor to ensure the reader will be blown away by both the story and the prose. Depending on word count, the process from concept creation through to finished novel can range from four to twelve months.

Then the book enters the marketing phase where the cover and blurb are optimized to sell, and various advertisements are set up to promote the book. Every book is made with the target of hitting the bestseller list.
