We are looking for an organized and culturally attuned EU Spanish & French Marketing Assistant to create and schedule dynamic bilingual content, supporting marketing campaigns that bring our stories to Spanish & French readers.
Job Outline
Our EU Spanish & French Marketing Assistant will chiefly be responsible for content creation and scheduling: including, but not limited to emails, social media, comments, reader fan mail and marketing materials (competition text, questions, Facebook Ad copy, blurbs etc.). It will also be their responsibility to serve as our bridge into Spanish & French culture, providing cultural insight: specific holidays/events, specific humor, and reader interest pieces.
They will be working with the Marketing team to assist in organizing campaigns and developing marketing strategies. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.
This role will be approx. 20-30 hours / week and includes marketing tasks in both Spanish and French.
Job Duties may include:
- Creating and scheduling content on Facebook, Instagram and/or Tiktok.
- Image editing and creation through Canva or Photoshop
- Creating newsletters & ARC team emails through Mailchimp.
- Finding & communicating with Bookstagrammers.
- Research for the EU-Spanish & French book market.
- Creating a timeline of promotional activities (pre-order campaigns, launch events, social media) that spans from months before launch to post-launch for the Spanish & French markets.
Necessary Skills & Experience
- EU Spanish / French Native Speaker
- Social Media experience with Meta Business Suite, Tiktok & Instagram
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with authors
- Connections with the reading community is a plus (Romance genre specifically)
- Multi-tasker extraordinaire
- Cultural insight
- Time management and prioritisation
- Technologically savvy
- Experience with Teamwork Project Management system highly regarded
About You
You are a native EU Spanish and/or French speaker who knows and cares deeply about their culture. You are an avid reader and have a genuine interest in the publishing process and community.
You have exquisite communication, intuitive people skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads etc.). In addition, you have good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
You are well-organized with a customer-oriented approach and have a strong understanding of office management and marketing principles.
